Andreas Woisch has worked as a researcher at the German Centre for Higher Education Research and Science Studies (DZHW) since 2010. He has contributed to several empirical projects in the Research Unit: Study Decision and Educational Pathways. Previously, from 2005 to 2010, he studied social sciences at Leibniz Universität Hannover, focusing on social structure analysis, social inequality and methods of empirical social research (dissertation topic: the use of social capital on graduates' career entry).
