Conference Higher Education and the Labour Market (HELM)

The international conference "Higher Education and the Labour Market" (HELM) is jointly organised by the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) and the DZHW. Each edition focuses on a specific topic in labour market and higher education research and alternates between Nuremberg and Hanover, Germany. Starting in 2024, the conference will be held every two years.

The 7th HELM conference is scheduled to take place in June 2026 in Nuremberg.

  • 6th Forum Higher Education and the Labour Market (HELM) will be held on June 19 - 20, 2024 with special focus on "The Bologna Process After 25 Years: Continuities, Changes, and Evaluations".
