Dr. Andreas Sarcletti began to study Sociology at the University of Bamberg in 2000 (major subjects: empirical social research, statistics and marketing). He received his diploma (master’s) in 2005. He then spent four years as a research associate for the Bavarian Graduate Panel (BAP) at the Bavarian State Institute for Higher Education Research and Planning (IHF). During this time he also wrote his dissertation. From 2011 to 2015 he was research associate at Leibniz Universität in Hannover, exploring the transition of bachelor students to master's studies. From 2009 to 2011 he worked at the DZHW as a researcher in the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS), and returned in 2015 as a researcher involved in the project to establish a Research Data Centre for Higher Education and Science Studies. Since May 2017 he is researcher in the project "National Academics Panel Study (NACAPS)".
