Abstract
I explain that -capture program drop- is useless in ado-files. While it prevents errors in do-files when redefining programs in memory, it either isn't executed or results in an error in ado-files. Moreover, in ado-files with local subroutines, -capture program drop- can mistakenly remove unrelated programs from memory.

Abstract
The DZHW has been reporting regularly on universities of applied sciences since 1998 as part of the Equipment, Cost and Performance Comparison (AKL). 18 universities took part in the survey for the 2023 evaluation year. The aim of the AKL comparisons is to provide a valid and cross-university and cross-state comparable database on the performance and costs of the universities included, reflecting individual university structures.
