Abstract
Often, bibliometric mapping studies remain at a very abstract level when assessing the validity or accuracy of the generated maps. In this case study of citation-based mappings of a research specialty, we dig deeper into the topical structures generated by the chosen mapping approaches and examine their correspondence to a sociologically informed understanding of the research specialty in question. Our analysis highlights the variety of types of topical relatedness and epistemic interdependency that citations can stand for. Unless we assume that invasion biology is unique, our analysis suggests that global algorithmic field classification approaches that use citation links indiscriminately may struggle to reconstruct research specialties.

Abstract
Due to demographic changes as well as increasing technologization and economization the health sector is facing major challenges in securing the demands of well-trained professionals. This article examines the main developments concerning the training und study programmes of non-physician healthcare professions. First, the legal framework for vocational and academic training and the changes that have taken place or are emerging are discussed. Subsequently, quantitative developments in individual occupational areas are traced and shifts between vocational and academic training are highlighted.

Abstract
Onset of refractory ascites (RA) is the hallmark of end-stage liver disease. If liver transplantation (LTx) is not available and contraindications for a transjugular portosystemic shunt (TIPS) are present, repeated paracentesis remains the standard of care (SOC). Home-based, tunnelled peritoneal catheters (PeCa) have been suggested as an alternative treatment option. However, data on patients with liver cirrhosis are scarce. This study aimed to evaluate the safety of PeCa in these patients compared to SOC.
