Percy Scheller has a diploma in social sciences and has contributed to numerous empirical research projects as a researcher or senior researcher. From 2015 to 2017 he participated in setting up a Research Data Centre at DZHW and is currently developing additional infrastructure for the centre. Since 2015 he has participated in setting up a Research Data Centre (Forschungsdatenzentrum, FDZ) at DZHW. Previously he was himself a researcher at the DZHW from 2010 to 2015 and from 2002 to 2005 in the Research Area: Educational Careers and Graduate Employment where he co-organized the large primary data collection for "School Leavers with a Higher Education Entrance Qualification" and "First-year Students" (freshmen). From 2006 to 2010 he was a research associate at in the Department for Social Science Research Methods at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, working i.a. on the International Social Justice Project. He studied at the University of Göttingen and Humboldt Universität zu Berlin from 1994 to 2002. His research focus is on attitude research, student mobility and social exclusion. Percy Scheller hat presented his conclusions at international conferences and in peer-reviewed journals such as the European Sociological Review.
