Matthias Kelsch studied Sociology at Friedrich Schiller University Jena (B.A.) and the University of Bamberg (M.A.). During his studies, he worked as a student research assistant at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) and at the Collaborative Research Centre TRR 294 "Structural Change of Property". Since May 2026, he has been a research associate in the OptiData project at the Research Data Centre for Higher Education Research and Science Studies (FDZ-DZHW).
