Jan-Christoph Ohnesorge completed a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences (B.A.) and a Master's degree in "Work in Organizations and Society" (M.A.) at the University of Göttingen. During his Master's studies, he worked at the Sociological Research Institute Göttingen in the project "Digitalization in Job Centers: Challenges, Opportunities, and Development Perspectives in the Interaction of Work and Service Quality." Since July 2025, he has been working as a research associate in the department "Educational Careers and Graduate Employment" on the project "RegelWerk".
