Abstract
The notion of solidarity insinuates that all involved in the production of knowledge are geared towards a collective endeavour: the advancement of knowledge. In this sense, produced knowledge is to be shared freely among all. The idea of open access to scholarly publications (OA) builds upon this by being founded on the charitable ideal of a democratisation of knowledge. However, the large-scale OA manifestation such as Plan S or Projekt DEAL narrow the possibility of such solidarity. The principle underlying them is to allow for a sharing of established knowledge only to the high price of buying access to the means of establishing knowledge—a commercial market of OA for which only a few have the financial means for participation. Abstract
We analyze Wikipedia’s representation of the Nobel Prize winning CRISPR/Cas9 technology to explore to what extent and with what temporal dynamics Wikipedia cites well-acknowledged or highly cited literature. We use several matching heuristics to match publications from two publication corpora with the central Wikipedia CRISPR article. A combination of verbatim searches by title, DOI, and PMID is sufficient. The Wikipedia article references a substantial amount of articles that are part of our corpora, as well as literature that is not scientific. Delays in coverage show a dependence on the dynamics of both the field and the Wikipedia article itself

Abstract
The use of citations as indicators of topical relatedness of publications is common in the algorithmic mapping of the structure of science. References to source documents, however, may serve a variety of epistemic functions, and hence represent rather different dimensions of topical relatedness. They may pertain to the research methods used, the empirical objects studied, the theoretical resources build on, the research questions pursued, or the external motivation for and relevance of the work. In this qualitative case study, we explore the diversity in topical dimensions along which publications are linked in citation networks.

Abstract
Während die wichtige Rolle von Institutionen und Vertrauen für ökonomische Transaktionen in der Institutionenökonomie gut bekannt ist, wurden die Auswirkungen entsprechender Institutionen, historischer Pfadanhängigkeiten und kultureller Ähnlichkeiten wie Sprache und Religion in der Forschung zur transnationalen Studentenmobilität noch nicht systematisch analysiert. In unserer Forschung analysieren wir das Phänomen der transnationalen Studentenmobilität, indem wir Aspekte dieser verschiedenen Perspektiven kombinieren und testen. Wir konzentrieren uns auf Outbound-Studierende und analysieren, welche Faktoren beeinflussen, ob ein bestimmtes Land einen hohen Anteil an internationalen Studierenden gewinnen kann.

Abstract
We explore whether the semantics of diversity appears to be global and universal through computer-assisted content analysis of 2,378 publications. Diversity flows but only in the US and Canada, UK and Ireland, and Europe and is not present in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. Diversity acquires different meanings depending on local conflicts. In the US and Canada, it appeared in the mid-1970s and is still linked to race and gender. Diversity flows in the mid-2000s to other English-speaking countries such as UK and Ireland and Oceania in terms of inclusion, gender ethnicity, and gender and cultural diversity; and later in that decade in Europe framed as inclusion and gender. Diversity has not become global or universal.

Abstract
The presentation takes a closer look at determinants of students’ trust in political institutions to properly deal with the Covid-19 pandemic from a government performance perspective as well as the culturalist approach. Special attention is paid to intercultural experience in the form of ISM, as EHEA policy makers stressed the positive effects of mobility on civic responsibility. Analyses show that both theoretical approaches have expressive impact on institutional trust. The findings support the relevance of (long-term) government performance and students’ individual economic well-being as well as social trust and intercultural experience in predicting the extent of students’ institutional trust.
