Abstract
Although Germany is one of the most important host countries for internationally mobile students and academics only a small number of international professors is working in Higher Education Institutions. In 2020, they accounted for only 7.2% of the professorate. The research project InWiDeHo has investigated whether and, if so, which obstacles exist for international scientists in the transition from the postdoc phase to a professorship. The focus was on universities in Germany. The contribution presents central findings of the qualitative study and evaluates them against the background of current discussions on the (international) mobility of highly qualified academics.

Abstract
The poster presentation at the DZHW/LCSS Conference 2023 aimed at sharing the findings of a scoping review conducted in the context of the project Internationalization in the Digital Transformation – INDISTRA. The study reviews international scientific literature on the intersections between COVID-driven digitalization and the internationalization strategies of higher education institutions. The focus lies on teaching and learning, cooperation, support structures, and leadership processes.

Abstract
The duration of studies is a product of the interaction of several factors at different levels. In addition to individual factors, location-related, university-related and subject-related aspects also play a role. The lecture will report on results from the joint project "Significance of the institutional context for dropping out and long-term study (BiK)". On the basis of data from official statistics, a university-related quantification of the phenomenon of long study durations will first be undertaken. The findings are then linked to the results of studies on institutional context factors, including study-related regulations.
