Dr. Kolja Briedis is an educationalist and has been working at DZHW since 2002. Initially he worked as a researcher in the area of graduate studies. He became senior researcher for graduate studies in 2006. He has also led several studies on young researchers (project “WiNbus”) between 2008 and 2014. In 2013 he became senior researcher on the “Careers of PhD-holders” project. He is also responsible for the development of a coherent research design for all studies dealing with young researchers’ careers at DZHW. His main research topics are the relationship between higher education and employment, and young researchers in Germany.
