David Nika hat Sozialwissenschaften (B.A.) sowie Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft (M.A.) an der Leibniz Universität Hannover studiert. Während des Studiums war er seit Oktober 2021 als studentische Hilfskraft in der Nachwuchsgruppe "Mobilität von Hochqualifizierten" beschäftigt. Seit September 2022 ist er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter und Doktorand in der Abteilung "Bildungsverläufe und Beschäftigung" im Student Life Cycle (SLC) tätig.
