Dr Antje Wegner studied sociology, psychology and economics at Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg and Saint Petersburg State University. From 2009 to 2012, she worked as research assistant at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) where she completed her doctorate in regional science in 2015. In parallel, from 2012 to 2015 she conducted several projects on early career researchers at the Institute for Research Information and Quality Assurance (iFQ). Since 2017, she has been co-leading the National Academics Panel Study (Nacaps). Since August 2022, she is also leading a joint project that deals with the conditions for using survey- and process-based data in higher education development (NuDHe).
