Pursuing a Doctorate with Health Impairments (ProBee)

The project “Pursuing a Doctorate with Health Impairments (ProBee)” examines the situation of doctoral candidates in Germany whose doctoral studies are hindered by health impairments. The analyses are based on data from the “National Academics Panel Study (Nacaps)”. In addition to a nuanced examination of various forms of health impairments, the project identifies factors that are relevant to enabling doctoral candidates with health impairments that hinder their studies to successfully complete their doctorates.
