Migration-specific differences in the transition to tertiary education

This project will examine the migration-specific differences in the transition to tertiary education. The aim is to analyse the different groups of origin and the generational status of migrants. For this purpose survey data of the DZHW Panel Study of School Leavers with a Higher Education Entrance Qualification of the cohorts 2012 and 2015 are used (1st and 2nd Wave).The study´s theoretical framework is Bodouns distinction between primary and secondary origin effects on educational success. This distribution can be extended and transferred to the migration background.
