In the late 1990s, a number of large German companies established so-called “corporate universities”. In this project we analysed to what degree today's corporate universities adapt elements and functions of higher education. We also identified reasons for the adaptation or non-adaptation of elements and functions. Systematic website analyses and interviews with representatives of selected corporate universities were conducted for this purpose.
