Susanne de Vogel has been working as a researcher in the Research Area: Educational Careers and Graduate Employment – Professional and Academic Careers at the DZHW in Hannover since 2013. In 2019, she received her Ph.D. in sociology from Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. In her doctoral thesis, she compares the access, learning environments and transitions to work in individual and structured doctorates. From 2007 to 2013, she studied Social Sciences at the University of Cologne and Utrecht University (Netherlands). Her research focusses on educational and professional trajectories, young researchers and social inequality.
