Sabrina Petersohn studied sociology, political sciences and public law at the University of Potsdam. She worked at the GESIS Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences as a research associate from 2012 until 2016. Here she was partly responsible for the project “BibPro: Research evaluation in transition: The institutionalization of bibliometrics as a scientific field and professionalization as an expert field”, a joint project with the University of Wuppertal, where Sabrina is also enrolled as a PhD student. She studies the professionalization of bibliometrics from the perspective of different users of bibliometric expertise, such as academic librarians, expert organizations or research managers. Sabrina started to work at the DZHW in April 2017 in the project “Research Core Dataset Helpdesk”.
