Dr. Gesche Brandt

Dr. Gesche Brandt completed her degrees in Sociology and Social Research at the University of Bremen in 2009 and was subsequently employed as a researcher at EMPAS, Department of Statistics and Social Research at the University of Bremen. She has been a researcher in the Research Area: Educational Careers and Graduate Employment at the German Centre for Higher Education Research and Science Studies (DZHW) since 2010. Her research interests include careers of university graduates and doctorate holders, life course research and gender studies. She did her doctorate in 2018 at the Leibniz Universität Hannover. The topic of her dissertation is "Causes, consequences and changes in the traditional division of labour in partnerships between academics".
