Dr.-Ing. Otmane Azeroual has been working as a researcher at the German Centre for Higher Education Research and Science Studies (DZHW) since December 2016. After studying Business Information Systems at the University of Applied Sciences Berlin (HTW), he obtained his Ph.D. on the subject of "Investigations into data quality and user acceptance of research information systems" in engineering informatics at the Institute for Technical and Business Information Systems (ITI), Databases & Software Engineering Research Group of the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg. His research and teaching activities address digital corporate transformation, database systems, software engineering, artificial intelligence, data science and project management. As a member of the research information organization euroCRIS, he supports international universities and non-university institutions as well as their researchers with applied solutions to ensure the data quality of research information during its integration into the research information system (RIS). In addition, he is actively involved in international cooperation with scientists and companies, e.g. in the context of research and consulting projects. He is also the editor of various internationally renowned journals with the aim of networking and advancing research in the international academic community. His research has been published in leading academic and practice-oriented journals.
